It’s nearly time for one of the marine industry’s most influential events: the Dubai Yacht Show 2019.
Now in its 27th year, this unmissable event will feature luxury superyachts and the latest in technology, design and leisure experiences. Over 400 exhibitors and close to 30,000 visitors are expected to attend, ranging from those in the market for a new boat to those interested in fractional yacht ownership.
We’ve created a guide of the what to expect from this year’s show, and how to make the most of the event.
When and where is the Dubai Yacht Show 2019?
The Dubai Yacht Show 2019 runs from Tuesday 26th February until Saturday 2nd March (3pm-9:30pm each day) at its new venue on the Dubai Canal, Jumeirah.
Described as one of the greatest urban transformations, the location itself is a must-see during your visit. The 3.2km-long waterway is a first-class marine transport hub, adding 6.4km of waterfront to the emirate.
It features many lifestyle and leisure developments for residents and visitors to enjoy. With five pedestrian bridges, a 3km running track and 12km cycle path, there are many ways to take in the stunning views.
The mechanical waterfall is a real design feature, which is motion operated and can be switched off when a sensor detects a boat nearby.
