Meet SmartYacht at Interboot 2017

SmartYacht Anticipates Interboot 2017

Commencing 23rd September until 1st October 2017, the 56th international Interboot will welcome over 500 watersports exhibitors from across the world. The town of Friedrichshafen in Southern Germany will come to life as the festival attracts watersports enthusiasts from near and far, each eager to catch a glimpse of the latest equipment and accessories. Many will take the opportunity to test the products first-hand. SmartYacht will be in attendance at Interbook 2017, meeting clients and visitors and introducing our yacht share concept.

A Recap of Last Year’s Show

What to Expect at Interboot 2017?

The festival will be held across 8 large exhibition halls, and there will be a number of displays on Lake Constance, from hovercraft to surfboards, family cruisers, wakeboards, sailing yachts, and SUPs, to name but a few. “We offer visitors a diverse selection of presentations, exhibitions and test sailing opportunities and want to encourage them to participate. For example, our Interboot Harbour, with 130 berths, is absolutely predestined for such a role,” said Messe Friedrichshafen CEO Klaus Wellmann. The Start Boating Campaign will encourage first-time sailors to “get out on the water.” Visitors will be able to try their hand at seafaring on 9 motorboats and two sailboats for free, although availability is low and those interested will need to book in advance. A truly international event, Interboot 2017 will bring workshops and seminars from knowledgeable professionals at the Interboot Academy: Bobby Schenk will share his stories from his experience of sailing around the world; Peter G. Boot, a former Royal Marine, will provide classes on VHF, radio and chart plotting; and a selection of other speakers will share insightful yacht-related knowledge.

SmartYacht’s Boat Share Scheme

We look forward to sharing our affordable boat sharing model, which provides clients with the opportunity to become a yacht owner from as little as EUR 159,750 plus expenses (which are also split). This is based on four people sharing a yacht, each with a minimum of 9 weeks usage. Every aspect of yacht management is overseen, leaving you free to enjoy your most prized possession. Alternatively, an entire yacht can be purchased through SmartYacht from EUR 639,000 and the management of the vessel is overseen. We currently offer 13 yachts through our boat sharing model, in various destinations across the Mediterranean, Dubai and the Seychelles. Yachts include a Princess 50 Fly, a Sunseeker 66 Manhattan, and a Prestige 500 to name but a few.
